The Free Ger­man Youth (Ger­man: Freie Deutsche Jugend; FDJ) is a youth move­ment in Germany

Poster made in the DDR about the FDJ MMM com­pe­ti­tion. The fair of the mas­ters of tomor­row (MMM) was a youth com­pe­ti­tion in the GDR. Medals were award­ed as prizes. It was orga­nized by the FDJ and took place annu­al­ly from 1958 to 1990. The aim was to increase inter­est in tech­nol­o­gy and sci­ence among social­ist youth and thus to cre­ate new gen­er­a­tion of engi­neers. H61cm W44cm £165
